NHS beg foreigners in Spain and Italy to work as nurses because Britons don't want jobs


DESPERATE NHS hospital bosses are begging people in Spain and Italy to "come and work for us" because not enough British people want jobs as nurses.

The struggle to fill nursing posts at Dorset County Hospital has become so bad that the Government is forced to spend thousands of pounds on sending teams to seek out extra workers abroad.

It held a recruitment session last month in Spain, one of four searches for staff in the European Union this year, it emerged today.

And bosses have already recruited twelve Italian nurses and nine are coming soon, while seven nurses from Spain will be joining the hospital, following three recruitment sessions.
